SEWING PATTERNS FOR SQUARE AND ROUND DANCE COSTUMES

PATTERNS THAT ARE READY-TO-USE:

Butterick - #4655

A prairie skirt and blouse pattern.

Butterick - #4656

A circle skirt and blouse pattern.

Simplicity - #7719

Three different dress styles. They look a little short-waisted in the picture on the pattern package.

Kwik-Sew - #2102

Three different skirts and blouses.

PATTERNS THAT REQUIRE ADAPTATION:

McCalls - #9254

A traditional western dress that has a nice bodice and a long skirt. It would require an alteration to the skirt.

McCalls - #8043

Wedding dress pattern. Has a flattering neckline, trim variations, and five sleeve variations.

In British Columbia, Kwik-Sew patterns are available at Fanny's Fabrics.
Most square dance shops carry square dance patterns, both ladies and mens wear designs.

A tip in finding patterns adaptable for square dance costumes is to check thrift stores.
Many times you can find wedding dress, evening gown and blouse/skirt patterns
that make lovely square dance outfits at very reasonable cost.
